Arrival and departure at Hygna Chalets
The Hygna Chalets are located in the eponymous district of Hygna in the municipality of Reith im Alpbachtal/Tyrol on a quiet sunny plateau at 850 m above sea level, about 2 km from the village center. The Alpbachtal is an original valley in the Tyrolean lowlands between the Zillertal and Kitzbühel. Worth a visit is not only the cozy village center of Reith i. A., but also the neighboring community of Alpbach with your very special wooden construction.
The booked chalet is ready for you from 15:30 on the day of arrival.
At the reception in the main house our staff will welcome you upon arrival.
For a late check-in (later check-in) after 18:00 o’clock we ask you to contact us in advance.
Of course, we will be happy to accommodate an early check-in if possible. However, we can only confirm this about two days before arrival.
We ask you to vacate the chalet on the day of departure no later than 10:00 am. Check-out at the reception is possible between 08:30 and 10:00.
Check-out before 08:30 a.m. is possible by arrangement.
Late check-out subject to availability on request at extra charge.
Our free parking spaces are located around the main building. For arrival and departure, you are welcome to park directly in front of the reception entrance. We are also happy to provide luggage transport from the car to the chalet door.
Below our main house we offer 3 charging stations for e-cars. You can get the chip for it at the reception. Price information also at the reception.
The train stations in Brixlegg (5 km), Jenbach (14 km) or Wörgl (22 km) are the three closest train stations. From there we are very easy to reach. We are happy to organize a transfer to us (for a fee), we ask for timely advance notice.
Innsbruck airport can be reached in about 50 minutes by car.
Other airports: Munich airport (approx. 2 h) and Salzburg airport (approx. 1.5 h).
We accept cash, bank transfer and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, JCB, Union Pay).
Booking
In order to make a binding reservation at Hygna Chalets, we ask you to make a deposit according to the booking confirmation within 7 days after booking. Our bank details:

The residence tax is currently € 2.00/person/night for all persons over the age of 15. From 01.12.2023 € 3,50/person/night
As a precaution for cancellation, accident, illness, early departure, mountain rescue, etc., we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance with our partner “Europäische Reiseversicherung” as part of the booking process. For questions please contact us. If no travel insurance is taken out, we reserve the right to charge the fees according to Austrian hotel regulations in case of cancellation.
Cancellations will only be accepted in writing.
The Austrian Hotel & Contract Conditions (AGBH 2006) apply:
up to 3 months before arrival – free cancellation possible
up to 1 month before arrival – 40 % cancellation fee
up to 1 week before arrival – 70 % cancellation fee
in the last week before arrival – 90 % cancellation fee
Cancellation fees are calculated from the total price.
Cuisine
Our breakfast cooks prepare the breakfast included in the price fresh daily and deliver it at the desired time between 08:00 – 11:00 directly to the chalet door.
We ask you to put the breakfast box back in front of the door after breakfast.
We are happy to consider changes until 16:00 the day before.
We are happy to prepare a vegetarian/vegan breakfast on request or take into account food intolerances. Please let us know your wishes before arrival so that we can prepare everything for it.
Nespresso coffee machines incl. capsules for free withdrawal provide for the special coffee pleasure during your time out with us in the Hygna Chalets. Tea lovers will also find a wide selection of teas in the chalet. Milk frother and kettle on request. For small guests or those with a sweet tooth, there is of course also cocoa available for free withdrawal.
For lunch/dinner we are happy to recommend the numerous restaurants and establishments in the center of Reith im Alpbachtal (2 km) as well as in the entire Alpbachtal region (radius 10 km). A restaurant guide with our tips will be handed out upon arrival. Or you can enjoy the possibility of a “Private Cooking” on request, directly in the booked chalet.
The Private Cooking is offered on request and subject to availability. Our chef Lukas prepares an individual dream dinner directly in your chalet. Menu suggestions will be coordinated personally with Lukas. Timely appointment request recommended.
There is a small selection of establishments in the area that deliver food to order directly to Hygna Chalets. Listing in the welcome folder on site.
Look forward to a good selection of wine, secco and champagne in the wine fridge in your chalet (prices according to the list posted there).
Equipment & interesting facts
We are happy to provide you with baby cribs, fall out protection and high chairs free of charge. Please inform us at the time of booking what we can prepare for you.
You will find cozy bathrobes, sauna towels and bath slippers in your chalet upon arrival. The bathrobes are changed every 7 days, you are welcome to exchange your bathrobe for a new one at the reception at any time.
Please note that we are a pet free accommodation – we have currently decided not to allow pets in our new chalets and kindly ask for your understanding.
To provide you with unforgettable evenings in front of the fireplace, our baskets filled with chopped wood are ready to be taken at any time directly at the entrance to our Heustadl-Infinitypool. During Smart Cleaning, the wood in the chalet will of course be replenished by our housekeeping.

All our chalets and the main building are non-smoking. Smoking only allowed outside on the terrace or balcony.
Our reception team is available daily for all your wishes and questions. Our concern is to make your vacation a very special one. We are also always happy to organize experiences or very special vacation moments. Just talk to us!
In all chalets there is a small safe for valuables.
Every other day we will come to your chalet and perform a Smart Cleaning. This includes: Towel change, filling coffee and tea bar, wood delivery, etc.
Daily chalet cleaning is possible on request for an extra charge of € 25,00/day.
On the view-protected, south-facing sun terrace in your own chalet there is a seating set as well as comfortable loungers incl. cushions to really relax. In summer, of course, a parasol is also available for shading.

We charge € 25.00 per wash load including drying.
For washing and ironing € 40,00.
In every chalet you can use our fast WLAN free of charge.
Wellness & Sport
Our year-round heated Heustadl infinity pool (31 °C) is definitely the heart of our facility. Dive into our 13m long infinity pool, do your laps sportily or just let yourself drift and always have the surrounding mountains in view.
Daily opening hours: 09:00 – 19:00 h
Our yoga room in the main house is open daily from 08:00 – 21:00 for your personal yoga session. Yoga mats, blocks and blankets are available.
We are also happy to organize a private yoga session for you for a fee. Feel free to ask us about it.
For your sports session, our fitness room in the main building has all the equipment you need to work out. Open daily from 08:00 – 21:00.
Let us pamper you: We will gladly organize a massage with that extra bit of relaxation for you: 30, 60 or 90 min. – for more information, please contact us at the Hygna reception.
Our tip: Please ask us for desired massage appointments before your arrival.
Private spa area with Finnish sauna, cozy corner and beds with massage function in each of our chalets. Most of them also have a free-standing bathtub with a panoramic view. For the perfect sauna experience, various sauna oils are available in the chalet.
In our Willow Spa Chalets and Meadow Spa Chalets there is a private stainless steel outdoor whirlpool (36°C) on the terrace as a special highlight with fresh water filling at the push of a button. Use is possible from 08:00 to 22:00.
For all active holidaymakers we have a locked room in our main building where sports equipment can be safely deposited. A ski boot dryer is also available there.
Our sports store in the center of Reith im Alpbachtal provides the right equipment for all our winter and summer active vacationers. Ski rental (-10% discount), snowshoes, toboggans, running & hiking shoes/sticks and much more).

Tip: In addition, our ski rental H&N Easy Rent incl. ski depot is located directly at the mountain station of the Wiedersbergerhornbahn in Alpbach, where a 10% discount on the rental price is also granted.

Vacation region Alpbachtal
Upon arrival, we provide our guests with a small information folder with interesting facts about the Hygna Chalets and the surrounding vacation region.
Current hiking maps, slope maps and information about excursion destinations are available for you at the reception. Of course we are also available with hiking suggestions, tips and information.
The skiing area “Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau” can be reached in 5 – 10 minutes by car and consists of the small but nice skiing area in Reith im Alpbachtal (2,5 km away) and the skiing area Alpbach-Wildschönau (approx. 6 km away). The Ski Juwel ski pass is valid in both ski areas.
The smaller ski area in Reith i. A. is especially recommended for children and the first days on skis, because it is quite flat in the area of the valley station and you can drive/walk directly to the slopes by car or on foot. There is also night skiing there on Friday and Saturday. The more extensive ski area at Wiedersbergerhorn/Alpbach and Schatzberg/Wildschönau offers everything that makes a skier’s heart beat faster.
Directly in front of your chalet door and in the entire Alpbach Valley you will find a dreamlike natural landscape that is just waiting to be explored. Walkers get their money’s worth, as well as hikers, mountain bikers and cyclists. Detailed maps & tour tips available at the reception.
In summer, the Alpbachtal Card program offers a variety of guided tours. Certified guides accompany you to the most impressive peaks, hike with you through gorges steeped in history and cycle with tailwind on the e-bike to the alpine pasture. More information at www.alpbachtal.at/card

At check-in we will hand you your Alpbachtal Cards, which include an extensive program with numerous inclusive services (free summer mountain railroads, bathing lakes, guided hikes in summer & winter and much more) in the Alpbachtal region.
